I help adults with ADHD navigate their life journey with compassion and courage.

I kept all the balls in the air, I managed a successful therapy business, I managed two busy kids. I kept working all through the pandemic. And things worked well.

Until they didn’t.

Realizing that I was so much like my ADHD kids, I sought out to get my own assessment and diagnosis.

Taking my training and knowledge of emotions, behaviors, the brain and development I began to dig into how to make my ADHD work for me.

 What’s your ADHD journey?

Twenty years ago as a newly minted social worker, ADHD wasn’t even on many mental health practitioners radar. At least not for adults. It certainly was not on mine.

I learned about anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar etc. ADHD was reserved for elementary school boys.

My mental health training gave me the foundation for understanding human development, emotions management, communication and relationships. All things I use today.

I then began to see so many adults who were struggling with depression or anxiety but weren’t really feeling like their symptoms were being managed.

It was at that time I began to screen for ADHD and found that many of these adults also had ADHD.

I set out to learn as much as I could. I’ve taken trainings, read all the books out there, done plenty of internet deep dives and met with other clinicians.

It’s my passion now to share this knowledge and experience with adults who are diagnosed with ADHD.

With the right support, strategies, and mindset, individuals with ADHD can unlock their full potential and thrive in all areas of life. It's not about making excuses, but rather embracing ADHD as a unique aspect of who we are and leveraging its strengths to achieve success and fulfillment.
